Dunnottar Castle (Scottish Gaelic: Dłn Fhoithear, "fort on the shelving slope") is a ruined medieval fortress located upon a rocky headland on the north-east coast of Scotland, about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) south of Stonehaven.
fantastic exposure and composition
gorgeous snapshot right out of history and the past. Dramatic hills, sky and sea. Magnificent even if what's left is called a ruin.
What an impressive picture
Fantastic scape and a very dramatic sky! I love the perspective and the way the road line leads the eyes to the castle. Nice light and colors.
Beautiful image of a favourite place.
Stunning location. Great photo.
A wonderful shot
SCOTLAND!!!!!! I love your beauty, I love the blood you gave me; nice shot mate.
I might be alone on this, but the white border distracts me, I think because there is no other pure white in the photograph. I think a black border would work better for this, or none at all, but that's just my opinion.
It just my personal taste...
Wonderful work very nice place.
Epic! Love the clouds. The lighting seems perhaps a tad overly blue (looking at the brown grass especially) but not terribly so. Nice
great capture of an icon
